Sit and Go Tournaments
Sit and Go tournaments are structured such that they will commence as soon as a predefined number of participants registers for the tournament. When the predefined number of participants registers (“sits”) then the tournament begins (“goes”). If a Sit and Go tournament is, for example, expecting 8 participants, it will start as soon as 8 participants register for the tournament. The tournament will never start with fewer than, or more than 8 participants.
Sit and Go tournaments are the perfect Tournament Structure with which to play scrims, pick-up-games (PUGS) or clan war matches. If you want to play a PUG you can simply create a 2-participant Sit and Go Practice Play tournament. The tournament is added to the tournament listing for anyone to join. If you want to scrim against a specific opponent, we recommend the same set up as a PUG, but mark the tournament “Private.” Private tournaments are not displayed on the tournament listing; you can use the Invite features on the tournament’s home page to invite the specific gamers that you want in your scrim. You are not limited to creating 2-participant Sit and Go tournaments, suppose that you want to organize a multi-clan war, you can create Practice Play Sit and Go tournaments with up to 16 participants.
You can also create Real Money Sit and Go tournaments. Your ability to create and spread the word about Real Money Sit and Go tournaments means that eSports happens when you want it to!
