Hello everyone! I’d like to register my steam ID for CS:S, but in the register page i only see the CS1.6 server. I don’t have 1.6, so i can’t register. What should I do now?

hey ok, saw that you got your steam ID registered. From what you are saying, it sounds like what happened to you is that when you clicked the reg server link in chrome, chrome protects you as it does anytime a website tries to launch something or download something external to chrome. So a window pops up and says “This website is trying to open an external program called Steam, do you want open Steam?” and you said: “No.” Whoops. For me I chose “Yes, and don’t ask me again.”

ok i got it to work use internet explorer instead of google chrome i think i pressd something well i pressd on the link and it like blocked it bun now its good

Hi Russianguy,
the steam id reg servers appear to be functioning as expected. Taking a wild guess: When clicking the links to the reg servers were you not logged into your steam account? If not logged in then clicking the links would bring up the steam log in screen, you have to log into steam on your own before clicking the link can drop you into the server. Can you try again and see if it works?
